Our industry is made stronger, more resilient, and just plain better when more individuals at all levels step up for leadership opportunities—from taking on more responsibility as a brewery employee to joining Brewers Association (BA) committees, to developing networks and mentorship opportunities in social media. But what are those opportunities and how can you find your way to them? In this seminar, voices from craft beer will highlight leadership pathways for craft beer professionals at the local, state, and national levels in a variety of organizations and associations, and attempt to break down some of the perceived barriers to those opportunities. Speakers Meg Ellis, Anne Marisic, and Monica Duggan will share multiple perspectives from within the industry about how we can both find and create leadership opportunities.
